Conference Call Features

Features that are included with your account.

Codeless Entry - how it works:

  • Add a toll free number or toll number to an existing line (nothing changes on this line and it can still be used as it has been)
  • This call in number will allow a participant to dial in without using a participant code.
  • For a moderator to dial in without a code, We would need their caller ID to have our system recognize it and still have a security measure for this conference line The system will recognize the caller ID as an approved moderator and allow them in without a code to host a call. The cost is $10 per month for each number.

Managing your day-to-day activity

Managing your account and conference has never been easier. With the click of a mouse, you can add or delete PINs on conferences, change dial-in features or add advanced features. AccuConference gives you the freedom to manage your account at your convenience.

Access your account online to setup additional conferences and to change conference settings. You can also view online billing information and setup users with unique conference privileges.

Online Call Scheduler

Your account gives you the ability to schedule on-time use codes and generates a unique PIN and name for the conference. Other options include setting expiration dates, recurring scheduled calls and more. Use our Outlook Plugin to automate your conference setup. *Not available on Flat-Rate Plans.

Permission Based Users

Specific users can be given select access to your online account. Allow users to see only their unique conference; give the account department only access to the billing statement. This feature is powerful for allowing access without compromising your account security.

Multiple Moderator/Speaker/Participant codes

Do you need more than one participant code for your conference calls? Want to know exactly who your participants are on your conference calls? We have the solution for you! As an account executive, you can add unlimited PINS to your conferences. When you add a PIN, you can assign it any name you wish. If you need to remove a PIN simply click the (Rem) beside the PIN name and it will disappear. You can give the PINs speaker or participant status, depending on your need. Using this feature, in conjunction with our Dynamic Call Monitoring page, provides you with immediate information as to who is on your conference call.

Multiple Conferences

Having an account with AccuConference provides you with the ability to have as many single conferences as you need on your account. This provides the flexibility for numerous people to hold conference simultaneously. And, as always, this service is provided free-of-charge for all of our toll-free accounts.

Expire Dates:

Codes that expire to prevent users from abusing service. Multiple/ Custom Options: Track who and when is using your service at all times with customized codes.

Access Levels:
Creates access & unique privileges for specified conferences. Required Registration: Require people to register online before receiving a code. AccuConference also offers billing protection. Sometimes people will call into a conference at the wrong time or because they used the wrong code. If they are the only one on the line, we will automatically drop them in 5-10 minutes so that you are no charged for the call. Also, if you're not 100% satisfied with your conference call then you won't pay.

Event Planning

For your next large event, allow AccuConference to assist in the planning process by providing you with a qualified Event Planner. From pre- to post-event details, an Event Planner will help manage every aspect of your conference call. Whether it be creating the registration page & sending out the invitations, to being on the live call facilitating the live Q&A, an Event Planner will give you the utmost professional support and provide your company with a spectacular event.

Provide your participants the opportunity to register for your conference call and at the same time, gather important information from them. Registration pages are available for you to create with information including the speaker's photo, company logo and the capability to issue each participant an unique PIN.

Custom Hold Music/Greeting

You can upload your own hold music for participants to listen as they wait for your conference to begin. You can also upload a recorded advertisement or announcement. Once your conference has started, you can play special sound-bites or custom greetings into your call.

Conference Call Recording

Your account is equipped to record any or all of your conference calls. With the simple click of the mouse or a key stroke on your telephone keypad, you have the record abilities at your finger-tips. Your digital recordings are available for download from your account management site and will be available for 30 days for free download. Other Recording Examples:

Recording Playback

Did someone miss an important conference call? Do you have an announcement you need to post for clients to listen to? Use our conferencing system to record and play back. You call into the conference bridge and record your call or announcement, and then your participants will use a specified PIN to dial in and listen to the recording. (*Note - Flat-rate accounts will be charged a per-minute fee for playbacks.)

Desktop Controls (Live Call Screen)

Exercise total control of your conference call with our exclusive live call desktop controls. At your fingertips you will have the tools to facilitate a live question & answer session, mute and un-mute individual lines, view all participants on the call, enable or disable recording & lecture mode - all with the click of your mouse. You can see who is on your call for attendance tracking and conference call security.

Now you can turn off those annoying entry and exit tones that interrupt a conference call because you can see who is on or who has dropped off your conference call with our live dynamic call screen.

Pre Conference/Green Room

Enjoy your freedom of speech with Pre-conference. Each conference can be selected to have pre-conference, which allows all speakers and moderator to collaborate together in a separate conference room before the conference begins. A simple key stroke from the moderator will end pre-conference and the live call begins. At that time, speaker & moderator lines remain open to speak into the conference, and the participants are in a listen-only mode

Lecture Mode

Have a special guest speaker or presentation? Use our feature called Lecture Mode. Lecture Mode mutes all participants, allowing each to hear while freeing the Moderator or Speaker to conduct the conference without interruption. This is a great way to structure your call so that you use your conference time most effectively. At the appropriate time, you can begin live Q&A or release the call from Lecture Mode allowing open participation.

Live Queued Q&A Program

Perfect for large calls, your account provides you with the full function to have your own live question & answer session. Our system allows you to mute all participants for presentation (lecture) mode, and then selectively un-mute a particular line when there is a question. Participants "raise their hand" by simply pressing *1, and the moderator then selects to un-mute the line. This feature gives you total control and professionalism of an expert.

Web Conferencing - Free with all conference call accounts

No download required, no plug-ins and fully compatible with Windows and Macintosh. Your participants simply go to a web page, enter their participant PIN to log in and view your PowerPoint . It's that simple! Web conferencing includes:

  • PowerPoint - Share a simple PowerPoint presentation with your participants
  • Chat
  • Polling – A great tool to keep your audience engaged and to find out valuable information. Ask specific questions or setup votes.
  • Live Desktop Controls – Facilitate a live queued question & answer session

Star Commands

*1 - Dial-Out: Call out to other participants than add them to your conference by pressing *2.
*2 - Record Conference Call: Start/Stop a digital recording.
*4 - Volume: Turn up or turn down your headset volume.
*5 - Lecture Mode: Moderator enables everyone but the speaker to be muted.
*6 - Mute: Mute your line when you're not talking to eliminate noise.
*7 - Lock: Keep late arrivals from interrupting your call.
*8 - Participant Count: Find out how many people are on your call.
*9 - Terminate Call: Disconnects every line from your call.

Blast Dial / Web Outdial

Manual – When you're on a conference call and you’re viewing the live call screen you have access to the out-dial box. Simply enter the phone number of the person you’d like to call and click "GO." Your participant will automatically be called and when they answer they’ll hear a menu that lets them join, reject, or receive a call-back in five minutes.

Transcription

We will gladly transcribe your conference recording. If you would like to transcribe your own calls, it’s easy (and free) to download the recording file.

$3.50 Per minute cost for this service. 24 hour turn-around-time.

Online Billing Management

With online account management, you have full access to view your invoices anytime. All call records are posted immediately as the call ends, enabling you to view cost information quickly and track your conference expense as it happens. All previous statements are posted on-line for the life of your account.

Accounting Codes

AccuConference provides the ability to have your conference calls separated by accounting codes. Each moderator must enter a valid accounting code before entering the conference. This helps manage cost centers and controls where the spending needs to be place with the accounting department.

Call Record History

All prior call records are available on your account. View details of participants ID, name recording and PIN used for each conference. Track length of calls, listen to name records and view cost of each call – all online, all the time.
