Ten Questions You Need to Ask Your Conference Call Provider

RECORDING
Have you ever had a conference call that you wish you had recorded? With your conference account, you are provided with the ability to record your conferences at no additional charge. Here’s how to initiate recording:
- From the Dynamic Call Monitoring page you can click the “Record” button. This will begin the recording. The moderator will hear an automated voice which will say “Recording On”. You can also stop the recording by clicking the Record button, hearing “Recording Off”.
- The moderator can press *2 on their telephone keypad to initiate the recording, and will hear the same automated voice prompt. Also, by pressing *2 again, the recording will end.
- Under Conference Manger, you can edit your conference and select “Automatically Record”. This will start the recording of your conference each time you dial into your conference. You won’t have to remember to initiate the recording feature – it’s already been selected.
Multiple Recordings per conference
RECORDING DOWNLOAD
Once your conference is completed, your recording is available for download or playback. To download your recording, follow these simple instructions:
- Log into your customer site at www.accuconference.com/customer. Enter your user name & password to access your account information.
- Click on the Recordings menu button
- Find the date / time of the conference you wish to download
- Under Recording List, right click on the word Recording and select “Save Target As” from the menu.
- This will open your file manager, where your can select where you want the file downloaded to on your PC.
RECORDING Dial-in PLAYBACK
We provide you the ability to have your recorded conference available to your participants 24/7 with our Dial-in Playback Recording options. Having your conference available for Playback is a simple process to initiate. There are two ways you can have a Playback available for your participants.
- Instruct your participants to press the “*” key prior to entering the participant code in order to initiate playback.
- Create a new participant PIN specifically for “Playback”. This can be done from the conference manager page on your customer site, by selecting “Add PIN”, and select the “Conference Playback” style.
- If there are multiple recordings for a specific conference line, the participants will be prompted to select which recording they want to listen to by date.
- The playback manager will give instructions to the participants for fast forward, pause, rewind and stop.
