AccuConference has upgraded their features with new functionality designed to allow callers to dial in at their convenience and select from a menu of pre-recorded conference calls.
June 28, 2006 -- AccuConference has upgraded their features with new functionality designed to allow callers to dial in at their convenience and select from a menu of pre-recorded conference calls.
The Playback Tree is a feature that allows recorded conference calls to be uploaded to the customer's account and then easily accessed by listeners through an audio menu from which they make selections. Up to five recordings can be made available on the Playback Tree.
Customers can use recordings made on the Accuconference conference call bridge, or they may send other recorded files, which are easily uploaded to the tree structure. The selection menu features audio prompts that can be customized to maintain customer brand integrity. This is especially important when making conference calls accessible to clients, customers, vendors and others outside the company.
The Playback Tree is the perfect delivery mechanism for providing pre-recorded marketing messages, informational recordings, and recordings of meetings or training sessions. With convenient 24/7 access and a simple audio menu, anyone including employees, customers and even prospects, can listen to conference calls when they want.
"Every feature and function we design is based on convenience and ease of use. The Playback Tree offers our customers flexibility that helps them meet their needs around the clock," says Rob Anderson. "Easy set up, customization and simplified access make this another powerful tool to help them run their businesses more efficiently and effectively."
The Playback Tree option is just one of many fine features offered by AccuConference. Their products feature amenities such as reservationless 24/7 access, automated recording and playback, ability to view and control participant actions on conference calls or web conferences and dynamic application sharing, to name just a few.
May 4, 2006 -- AccuConference has just unveiled a new feature, accounting code validation. This feature is available through the Conference Manager, a desktop control system that allows the call host to manage all aspects of a conference call.
A call facilitator inputs an accounting code to ensure that the call is traceable to a department, branch, cost center or other accounting entity. Now, users can pre-load their proprietary chart of accounts to the system. The code entered by a call facilitator can be validated against this master list, ensuring that only valid codes are entered. A valid code must be entered for the call to proceed. The resulting benefit is that all call activity will be traceable to authorized accounting entities for more effective and efficient management of company costs.
Two other refined reporting capabilities include the option to require the entry of multiple accounting codes prior to call initiation as well as the ability to create expiring accounting codes which are valid only for a specified time period. Both of these features are easily set up with just a few keystrokes.
"Our customers are priority number one. If you need it, we will build it. We want our product and service offerings to reflect the dynamic needs of our client base. Our goal is to offer them flexibility as their businesses grow," says Rob Anderson, VP of Marketing. "Creating the accounting code validation option was something our customers needed to effectively run their businesses. We made it happen."

Fort Worth , Texas -- May 17, 2004 – AccuConference - Meeting Central, a technology leader in enterprise real-time communications software, today announced that remote control is now available as part of the company’s Meeting Central Web Conferencing software offering. Remote control joins a multitude of features already available in browser-based Meeting Central Web Conferencing, which includes multi-party audio and synchronous video conferencing, plus complete desktop, application/document sharing and dynamic PowerPoint™ presentation sharing.
Designed for use in IT departments, helpdesk support organizations and training applications, Meeting Central Web Conferencing remote control works with a standard web browser. It routes outside the firewall via the conferencing server and enables a designated user to control any PC remotely.
Unlike many remote control solutions, Meeting Central Web Conferencing remote control routes traffic via the server, and thereby is able to connect two or more end points, even if all are on private addresses. This approach avoids the firewall and proxy issues that are common in most enterprises and which prevent point-to-point remote control from operating as advertised.
“With the addition of Meeting Central Web Conferencing to our product line, it made perfect sense to add remote control. By its very nature, remote control requires real-time interaction. The session host or participant simply needs to right-click on any user to launch remote control immediately.”
